The Windsor stone bungalow welcomes you through the solid handcrafted entry door into old-world warmth and charm.
From the slate floor, the foyer rises to a ceiling 14 feet high with a massive chandelier. Cornice mouldings accentuate the tall ceilings of the foyer, library, great room, and master retreat.
The great room is dominated by a stone fireplace that extends to the 12-foot ceiling and is flanked by lovely tall windows. The concealed cornice lighting casts a soft glow across the ceiling. Cherry hardwood floors and lightly textured walls continue the old-world character throughout the house.
The custom cabinetry in the chef’s kitchen is second to none. The centre work island, gas range, Sub-Zero fridge and freezer, huge walk-in pantry, and granite work surfaces in this spacious room makes it inviting for the entire family, and friends too. The dining room, next to the kitchen and great room, has direct access to the outside living space with its expansive deck and gazebo with hot tub.
You’ll also find a gentleman’s den with a tall window that floods the handcrafted library shelves and desk with sunshine.
The master’s retreat has an adjoining spa complete with a 25-square-foot glass shower, and direct access to the outside semi-detached gazebo and hot tub. The dressing room is a dream come true with built-in dressers and organizers. Two additional bedrooms are joined by a shared bathroom and individual walk-in closets on the main floor.
The curved staircase of wrought iron and cherry wood descends from the foyer to the lower level, where you’ll find a huge games room, media room, and craft area. There are 2 more spacious rooms with a shared bathroom for overnight guests.
